General Purpose Finishing Stone · Semi-Hard Aluminum Oxide · White Color The Falcon Tool “SE” finishing stone is a semi-hard aluminum oxide stone with slow breakdown used for general polishing on all tool steels as well as non-ferrous materials. It is load resistant and can be used wet or dry although most polishers prefer to use lubricants such as our Stoning Oil or Polishing Lubricant and Diamond Thinner especially with the finer grits. The “SE” may be used by hand or with reciprocating profilers like our U-Lap and Turbo-Lap Air Profilers and Diprofil Die Profiler.
