The main application of these tapered files are filing inside slots and grooves where access with parallel files is impossible. The DHM files have a round shank and can be used either by hand or in any reciprocating filing machine.

DHM Files and DH Files are both tapered files. However, DHM Files have a 3.0 mm round shank and can be used by hand or in any reciprocating filing machine. DH Files have a standard flat handle and are used by hand.
