Cotton Fiber Abrasive Wheel · Smooth Running & Non-Loading
MX is a cotton fiber abrasive which is produced by laminating non-woven cotton fiber with aluminum oxide grain and bonding it to achieve varying characteristics. MX Finishing Wheels are engineered for blending, deburring, and finishing machined and cast parts and can be used on both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. They work extremely well on stainless steel and are very quiet and smooth running while the special composition runs cool with virtually no loading. This non-loading makes MX extremely suitable for working with softer metals and alloys, such as aluminum. Available in both 1/8" and 1/4" shank options and grits ranging from 50 to 320.
